SK-N-MC is a human cancer cell line derived from Orbital region and associated with Askin tumor and Peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SK-N-MC is used as an in vitro model of Askin tumor and Peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor to investigate cell differentiation and viral infection.
