Definition:
SW13 is a human cancer cell line derived from Adrenal gland and associated with Adrenal cortex carcinoma and Adrenocortical carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SW13 is used as an in vitro model of Adrenal cortex carcinoma and Adrenocortical carcinoma to investigate autophagy, cell proliferation, cell-cycle control, and gene-expression regulation.
