Definition:
TOV21G is a human cancer cell line derived from Ovary and associated with Ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma and Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the ovary. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. TOV21G is used as an in vitro model of Ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma and Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the ovary to investigate apoptosis.
