Tsukamurella infection
Definition:
Tsukamurella species are aerobic gram-positive rods from the order Actinomycetales. They have been uncommonly reported as a cause of different human infections, including peritonitis, conjunctivitis, meningitis, tenosynovitis, prosthetic joint infections, cutaneous infections, tuberculosis-like respiratory infection, and catheter-related bloodstream infections.
