U-937/GTB
Definition:
U-937/GTB is a human cancer cell line derived from Pleural effusion and associated with Adult acute monocytic leukemia and Acute monoblastic/monocytic leukemia. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. U-937/GTB is used as an in vitro model of Adult acute monocytic leukemia and Acute monoblastic/monocytic leukemia to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
