Biological Activity: 5,6,7-Trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone (4'-O-Methylscutellarein) is a flavonoid and a weak inhibitor of xanthine oxidase. 5,6,7-Trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone possesses antithrombotic and antioxidant activities. 5,6,7-Trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone has an IC50 value of 25.29 µM for DPPH free radical scavenging. 5,6,7-Trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone can also inhibit H2O2-induced damage to PC12 cells. 5,6,7-Trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone is applicable for the research of diseases such as cerebrovascular disorders[1][2].
