AMG 1541 is a degradable ionizable lipid. AMG 1541 mediates the delivery of polynucleotides including mRNA. AMG 1541 exerts potent neutralizing effects on pseudotyped lentiviruses carrying the B.1.617.2 spike protein. As a component of influenza vaccines, AMG 1541 enables robust immune activation and reduces vaccine dosage. AMG 1541 is applicable to research related to SARS-CoV-2 infection.

AMG 1541 (40 ng/well) mediates luciferase reporter gene expression in C2C12 cells, producing a detectable luminescent signal at a dose of 40 ng/well[1].

In Vivo
AMG 1541 (intravenous injection) effectively delivers mRNA to the liver of mice, achieving a total hepatic flux of approximately 1.1×1010 p/s[1].
AMG 1541 (0.25-1 mg/kg; intravenous injection) effectively delivers hEPO mRNA in mice, inducing a dose-dependent increase in serum hEPO levels, with an average level of 1200-1300 IU/mL (upper limit of approximately 1500 IU/mL) at the 1 mg/kg dose[1].
