Acts upstream of or within several processes, including neurotransmitter receptor metabolic process; positive regulation of neuron apoptotic process; and regulation of synaptic assembly at neuromuscular junction. Located in several cellular components, including basement membrane; sarcolemma; and synaptic cleft. Is expressed in several structures, including lower jaw; metanephros; musculature; nervous system; and retina. Used to study congenital myasthenic syndrome 8.
