p-SCN-Bn-PCTA hydrochloride
p-SCN-Bn-PCTA hydrochloride is a Bifunctional Chelator used for radiometal labeling. p-SCN-Bn-PCTA hydrochloride can conjugate with peptides or antibodies via its isothiocyanate group. PCTA-RGD, formed by the conjugation of p-SCN-Bn-PCTA with cyclo-RGDyK, retains binding activity towards αvβ3 integrin with an IC50 of 1.8 μM. p-SCN-Bn-PCTA hydrochloride can be used for the construction of PET radiotracers and imaging studies related to pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, and tumor angiogenesis.

Biological Activity
p-SCN-Bn-PCTA (1.1 equiv; room temperature; overnight) hydrochloride can conjugate with cyclo-RGDyK via the isothiocyanate group to form PCTA-RGD, whose IC50 for binding to αvβ3 integrin in U87MG cells is 1.8 μM[2].
PCTA-RGD formed from p-SCN-Bn-PCTA hydrochloride achieves a radiochemical yield of 95.2% for 68Ga when labeled at room temperature for 5 min, and reaches a radiochemical yield of 97.1% when labeled at 40 °C for 5 min[2].
p-SCN-Bn-PCTA (chelator:antibody = 5:1; 37 °C; overnight) hydrochloride conjugates with NCAB001 to form PCTA-NCAB001, with an average of 3 PCTA molecules conjugated per NCAB001 molecule, and PCTA-NCAB001 retains EGFR-binding activity comparable to that of cetuximab[1].
