IL-31 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His)
Based on 1 publication(s) in Google Scholar
IL-31 Protein activates STAT3, potentially STAT1 and STAT5, through the IL31 receptor. It enhances myeloid progenitor cell survival and induces RETNLA and serum amyloid A protein expression in macrophages. IL-31 Protein's diverse functions suggest its importance in biological processes and potential implications in immune regulation and cell survival. IL-31 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived IL-31 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Background
IL-31 Protein activates STAT3 and potentially STAT1 and STAT5 through the IL31 heterodimeric receptor, which consists of IL31RA and OSMR. It has been suggested to play a role in skin immunity and enhances the survival of myeloid progenitor cells in vitro. IL-31 Protein also induces the expression of RETNLA and serum amyloid A protein in macrophages. These diverse functions highlight the significance of IL-31 Protein in various biological processes and suggest its potential implications in immune regulation and cell survival.
Verified Bioactivity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Mouse IL-31 RA (HY-P77968) is immobilized at 5 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Biotinylated Mouse IL-31. The ED50 for this effect is 1-5 μg/mL.
