Descripciòn

Thiamine monophosphate chloride dihydrate is a vitamin B1 (HY-A0100) metabolite and thiamine precursor. Thiamine monophosphate chloride dihydrate is absorbable in vivo and can be converted into thiamine. Thiamine monophosphate chloride dihydrate can be used as a food additive[1].

In Vivo

Thiamine monophosphate (240 mg thiamine equivalent/kg bw; i.p.; consecutive 28 days) chloride dihydrate exhibits toxicity in rats[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: healthy rats[1]
Dosage: 240 mg thiamine equivalent/kg bw
Administration: i.p.; daily; 28 days
Result: Resulted in 15% mortality in rats, compared to 38% mortality with Thiamine.

In Vivo:

For the following dissolution methods, please prepare the working solution directly. It is recommended to prepare fresh solutions and use them promptly within a short period of time.
The percentages shown for the solvents indicate their volumetric ratio in the final prepared solution. If precipitation or phase separation occurs during preparation, heat and/or sonication can be used to aid dissolution.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
