4-Hydroxy-2-oxoglutarate aldolase

4-Hydroxy-2-oxoglutarate aldolase (EC 4.1.3.16) is a lyase that can catalyze multiple reactions, including reaction 1: convert (4R)-4-hydroxy-2-oxoglutarate into glyoxylate and pyruvate; reaction 2: convert (4S)-4-hydroxy-2-oxoglutarate into glyoxylate and pyruvate.
