The structure of PEG-Alkyne comprises two key parts that work synergistically:
Alkyne group: Capable of click chemistry reactions, it specifically links to molecules containing azide groups.
PEG chain: Acting as a hydrophilic spacer, it forms a hydration layer on the particle surface, reducing non-specific adsorption and immune system clearance, thus prolonging the carrier's circulation time in vivo.
