9(Z),11(E)-Conjugated linoleic acid methyl ester
Based on 1 Customer Validation
9 (Z),11 (E)-Conjugated linoleic acid methyl ester (9Z,11E-CLA; Methyl 9 (Z),11 (E)-octadecadienoate; (9Z,11E)-SFE 19:2) is an isomer of Linoleic acid (HY-N0729), and is a conjugated linoleic acid mainly found in meat and dairy products. Conjugated linoleic acid is a bioactive fatty acid that improves body composition, enhances immune system function, and exhibits anti-cancer and anti-atherosclerotic effects.

Biological Activity
9 (Z),11 (E)-Conjugated linoleic acid methyl ester activates de novo synthesis of phosphatidylcholine (LPC) and phosphatidylethanolamine via the Kennedy pathway in primary monocyte-derived macrophages, shifts and integrates their species profile toward 18:2/18:2, and simultaneously induces desaturation and elongation reactions to generate conjugated fatty acids such as 18:3 and 20:4. In addition, 9 (Z),11 (E)-Conjugated linoleic acid methyl ester preferentially binds to triglycerides and cholesterol esters, and undergoes further elongation metabolism inside cells to form conjugated fatty acid products including 20:2 and 22:2[1][2].
