DNA Stain
There are several different stains that can be used to visualize and photograph DNA after separation by gel electrophoresis. Molecules of the dye adhere to DNA strands and fluoresce under UV light, showing where the bands are within the gel.
Hoechst stains are part of a family of blue fluorescent dyes used to stain DNA.There are three related Hoechst stains: Hoechst 33258, Hoechst 33342, and Hoechst 34580. The dyes Hoechst 33258 and Hoechst 33342 are the ones most commonly used and they have similar excitation/emission spectra.

Cy5 maleimide (solution)
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-DY1067CAS No.: 1437796-65-0Synonyms: Cyanine5 maleimide (solution)Cy5 maleimide (solution) is a CY dye. CY, short for Cyanine, is a compound consisting of two nitrogen atoms connected by an odd number of methyl units. Cyanine compounds have the characteristics of long wavelength, adjustable absorption and emission, high extinction coefficient, good water solubility and relatively simple synthesis. CY dyes are of en used for the labeling of proteins, antibodies and small molecular compounds. For the labeling of protein antibodies, the combination can be completed through a simple mixing reaction. Below, we introduce the labeling method of protein antibody labeling, which has certain reference significance.

Br-DAPI
0 ImagesBr-DAPI is a marker dye in DAPI series. DAPI is a fluorescent dye that binds strongly to DNA. It binds to the AT base pair of the double-stranded DNA minor groove, and one DAPI molecule can occupy three base pair positions. The fluorescence intensity of DAPI molecules bound to double-stranded DNA is increased by about 20 times, and it is commonly observed with fluorescence microscopy, and the amount of DNA can be determined based on the intensity of fluorescence. DAPI cannot penetrate intact cell membranes and is commonly used for staining damaged and fixed cells. Storage: Keep away from light. -

Biotin-16-dCTP
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-160841CAS No.: 2567941-52-8Biotin-16-dCTP is a biotinylated deoxycytidine triphosphate that serves as an important DNA labeling substrate. Biotin-16-dCTP can be enzymatically incorporated into the 3' end of DNA probes via terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase, forming a 1-3 nucleotide-long tail to achieve biotinylation of the probes. Biotin-16-dCTP enhances chemiluminescent detection of low-abundance targets such as specific tRNA isoacceptors through Northern blotting. Biotin-16-dCTP can also replace conventional dCTP to be integrated into single-stranded DNA generated by asymmetric polymerase chain reaction, which is applicable for bioconjugation or pull-down assays. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles of Biotin-16-dCTP should be avoided to prevent degradation of its function for probe biotinylation. -
