Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1)

Definition:

Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is an enzyme located in the cytoplasm and peroxisomes. IDH1 participates in lipid metabolism and glucose sensing, including catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate.
