SAOS-2
Definition:
SAOS-2 is a human cancer cell line derived from Bone and associated with Osteosarcoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SAOS-2 is used as an in vitro model of Osteosarcoma to investigate apoptosis and cell proliferation.
