Definition:
UMUC3 is a human cancer cell line derived from Urinary bladder and associated with Bladder carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. UMUC3 is used as an in vitro model of Bladder carcinoma to investigate EGFR signaling, apoptosis, and cell proliferation.
