Calcium chloride dihydrate, for cell culture, 99% (12.5-200 mg/mL, 24-72 h) increases the cytotoxicity but enhances the dentinogenic differentiation potential of WMTA on dental pulp stem cells^[2].

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay^[2]

Cell Line:	Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs)
Concentration:	200, 100, 50, 25, and 12.5 mg/mL, FS WMTA (extracts of WMTA/calcium chloride dihydrate combination)
Incubation Time:	24 h, 72 h
Result:	Showed severe cytotoxic activity at two successive concentrations (200 and 100 mg/ml) after 24 and 72 h. Showed moderate cytotoxic activity at 50 mg/mL. Showed noncytotoxic activities at 12.5 mg/mL.
