体外実験

METTL3-IN-13 (Compound 142) (72 h) potently inhibits the viability of Calu-6, A549, Fadu, HCT-116, MDA-MB-231, PANC-1, 5637, DU 145 and PC-3, with an IC₅₀ ≤ 200 nM^[1].

METTL3-IN-13 (Compound 142) (30 mg/kg, i.p., once daily for 20 consecutive days) significantly inhibits subcutaneous hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma tumor growth and prolongs survival in female NSG mice^[1].
METTL3-IN-13 (30 mg/kg, i.p., once daily for 50 consecutive days) significantly prolongs the survival of female C.B-17 SCID mice in an orthotopic non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma model^[1].

Administration:

i.p.; daily; day 5 to day 24
Result:

Reduced day 24 tumor volume to ~800 mm³ (vs ~2000 mm³ in vehicle control).
Prolonged survival: 80% survived to day 32, and 20% survived to day 40 (all vehicle-treated mice died by day 24).
