O-Trityl-L-serine
O-Trityl-L-serine is an inhibitor of human mitotic kinesin Eg5, with a Kiapp of 750 nM. O-Trityl-L-serine does not induce monopolar spindle formation or mitotic arrest in cancer cells. O-Trityl-L-serine can be used in cancer-related research.

In Vitro
O-Trityl-L-serine (compound 34) inhibits the basal ATPase activity of human mitotic kinesin Eg5 in cell-free assays, with an apparent inhibition constant Kiapp of 750 nM[1].
O-Trityl-L-serine (5 μM; 8 h) does not induce mitotic arrest or monopolar spindle formation in HeLa cells[1].
