Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
Potassium acetate (1-4 mM; 4 days) improves the development of germinated barley (Hordeum vulgare L., cv. Giza 134) grains at 1-2 mM, while concentrations ≥3 mM inhibit grain development[1].
Potassium acetate, meets analytical specification of Ph. Eur. BP E261 can be ued as a supplementary nutrient in microbial culture media, for microbial culture and metabolism research[3].
Potassium acetate, meets analytical specification of Ph. Eur. BP E261 can be used as a buffering agent or active ingredient in the development of liquid and solid drug formulations, as well as ophthalmic preparations[4].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
