Acloproxalap (ADX-629) is an orally active reactive aldehyde species (RASP) inhibitor. Acloproxalap binds covalently to free aldehydes, sequesters reactive aldehyde species, malondialdehyde, acetaldehyde and preformed malondialdehyde-acetaldehyde adducts, and reduces elevated RASP levels.
