18:0 mPEG2000 PE ammonium can self-assemble in water to form polymer micelles, with a typical size of 7-20 nanometers. 18:0 mPEG2000 PE has a hydrophilic outer shell composed of PEG chains and a hydrophobic core composed of phospholipid fatty acid chains. These micelles can enhance permeability and retention effects, and efficiently target and accumulate in the myocardial infarction area of rabbits[1].
