Biological Activity
5′-O-(4,4′-Dimethoxytrityl)-2′-O-methyluridine (4) (8 h; 30 min) undergoes 3′-O-acetylation followed by deprotection of the 5′-O-dimethoxytrityl group to form 3′-O-acetyl-2′-O-methyluridine (5) with an 86% yield[1].
