Nimonol (Nimocinol) is a tetranortriterpenoid limonoid present in the leaves of Azadirachta indica, and it undergoes photolysis to generate Nimonolide. Nimonol interferes with insect growth processes, exerts antifeedant and insecticidal effects, and exhibits insecticidal toxicity against the fourth-instar larvae of Aedes aegypti. Nimonol is used in research related to pest control.
