Antibacterial agent 298 exhibits significant antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas putida (ATCC 25922) with an IC₅₀ 4.48 µg/mL. Antibacterial agent 298 shows strong antibiofilm activity. Antibacterial agent 298 also inhibits approximately 50% of biofilm formation in L. lactis and P. putida. Antibacterial agent 298 can be used for the study of Bacterial infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria (MDR).

Antileishmanial agent-34 (Fig. (9), compound 3) is an aurone with antileishmanial activity. Antileishmanial agent-34 against extracellular forms of Lmaj, Ldon, Linf and Lenr as well as against intracellular forms of Ldon (IC₅₀ of <2 µg/mL).

Lipohexin is a peptide antibiotic. Lipohexin has anti-Gram-positive bacterial effect. Lipohexin had competitive inhibitory effect on human placental proline endopeptidase with an IC₅₀ of 3.5 μM. Lipohexin inhibits the proline endopeptidase from the Flavobacterium meningoseptiu with an IC₅₀ of 25 μM.
