Adefovir dipivoxil has antiviral activity against PRV, HBV, and orthopoxviruses. Adefovir dipivoxil has inhibitory effects on both lamivudine-resistant and wild-type strains. Adefovir dipivoxil has antitumor activity against lung and colon cancer.
