Description

Antidepressant agent 1 is a pyrazidole-halogeno-derivative with antidepressant effects. Antidepressant agent 1 also can be used to increase body temperature[1].

In Vitro

Antidepressant agent 1 (compound I) is prepared in 56% yields by reduction of compound II by NaBH4-AcOH. Compound II is obtained by condensation of compound III with BrCH2CH(OBu)2 followed by acid-catalyzed cyclization[1].
