Definition:

BCPAP is a human cancer cell line derived from Thyroid gland and associated with Poorly differentiated thyroid gland carcinoma and Thyroid carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. BCPAP is used as an in vitro model of Poorly differentiated thyroid gland carcinoma and Thyroid carcinoma to investigate autophagy, cell migration, cell invasion, receptor signaling and trafficking, gene-expression regulation, and hypoxic responses.
