BeWo is a human cancer cell line derived from Fetal brain and associated with Gestational choriocarcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. BeWo is used as an in vitro model of Gestational choriocarcinoma to investigate inflammatory signaling and hypoxic responses.
