Definition:

Ca-Ski is a human cancer cell line derived from Small intestine and associated with Human papillomavirus-related cervical squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix uteri. Ca-Ski is immortalized or transformed by Human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16). Ca-Ski is used as an in vitro model of Human papillomavirus-related cervical squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix uteri to investigate apoptosis, cell proliferation, mitochondrial function, and gene-expression regulation.
