Definition:

Ca9-22 is a human cancer cell line derived from Oral cavity, gingiva and associated with Gingival squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. Ca9-22 is used as an in vitro model of Gingival squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
