CAL-27
Definition:
CAL-27 is a human cancer cell line derived from Oral cavity, tongue and associated with Tongue adenosquamous carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. CAL-27 is used as an in vitro model of Tongue adenosquamous carcinoma to investigate mTOR signaling, apoptosis, cell proliferation, cell migration, cell invasion, and cell-cycle control.
