CCRF-SB

Definition:

CCRF-SB is a human B-cell-derived cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Childhood T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. CCRF-SB is immortalized or transformed by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). CCRF-SB is used as an in vitro model of Childhood T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia to investigate apoptosis, cell-cycle control, and cytotoxicity.
