Definition:

CMK is a human cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Down syndrome and Myeloid leukemia associated with Down syndrome. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. CMK is used as an in vitro model of Down syndrome and Myeloid leukemia associated with Down syndrome to investigate apoptosis, autophagy, oxidative stress, and cytotoxicity.
