Definition:

Daoy is a human cancer cell line derived from Brain, posterior fossa and associated with Medulloblastoma, SHH-activated, TP53-mutant and Medulloblastoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. Daoy is used as an in vitro model of Medulloblastoma, SHH-activated, TP53-mutant and Medulloblastoma to investigate PI3K-AKT signaling, mTOR signaling, Hedgehog signaling, apoptosis, and autophagy.
