Detroit 562 is a human cancer cell line derived from Pleural effusion and associated with Pharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. Detroit 562 is used as an in vitro model of Pharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity to investigate cell invasion.
