Diphthine--ammonia ligase

Definition:

Amidase that may catalyze the last step of diphthamide biosynthesis using ammonium and ATP. Diphthamide biosynthesis consists in the conversion of an L-histidine residue in the translation elongation factor (EEF2) to diphthamide (By similarity).
