Definition:
DOK is a human Keratinocyte-derived cancer cell line derived from Oral cavity, tongue and associated with Oral epithelial dysplasia. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. DOK is used as an in vitro model of Oral epithelial dysplasia to investigate cell invasion and gene-expression regulation.
