Definition:
Granta-519 is a human cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Mantle cell lymphoma. Granta-519 is immortalized or transformed by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Granta-519 is used as an in vitro model of Mantle cell lymphoma to investigate p53 signaling, apoptosis, cell proliferation, and viral infection.
