HCC78 is a human cancer cell line derived from Pleural effusion and associated with Lung adenocarcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. HCC78 is used as an in vitro model of Lung adenocarcinoma to investigate EGFR signaling, receptor signaling and trafficking, and drug resistance.
