Definition:

HepaRG is a human cancer cell line derived from Liver and associated with Hepatitis C infection and Hepatocellular carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. HepaRG is used as an in vitro model of Hepatitis C infection and Hepatocellular carcinoma to investigate cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and host-pathogen interactions.
