Definition:
HL60/MX2 is a human cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Adult acute myeloid leukemia with maturation and Acute myeloblastic leukemia with maturation. HL60/MX2 is a resistant derivative of HL-60/MX1 selected against Mitoxantrone. HL60/MX2 is used as an in vitro model of Adult acute myeloid leukemia with maturation and Acute myeloblastic leukemia with maturation to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
