Definition:

Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) is a cytokine whose biological activity is conventionally associated with cytostatic/cytotoxic and antitumor mechanisms during cell-mediated adaptive immune response. Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) can be used for the research of a variety of malignancies.
