Ishikawa

Definition:

Ishikawa is a human cancer cell line derived from Endometrium and associated with Type I endometrial adenocarcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. Ishikawa is used as an in vitro model of Type I endometrial adenocarcinoma to investigate β-catenin signaling, apoptosis, cell proliferation, and viral infection.
