L929 is a mouse Fibroblast spontaneously immortalized cell line derived from Connective tissue. Its spontaneous immortalization permits extended propagation while retaining lineage-associated properties. L929 is used to investigate p53 signaling, apoptosis, autophagy, oxidative stress, inflammatory signaling, and mitochondrial function in a controlled cellular system.
