Definition:
LOUCY is a human T-cell-derived cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Adult T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. LOUCY is used as an in vitro model of Adult T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia to investigate cell-cycle control.
