MC-IXC
Definition:
MC-IXC is a human cancer cell line derived from Orbital region and associated with Askin tumor and Peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. MC-IXC is used as an in vitro model of Askin tumor and Peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor to investigate oxidative stress, cellular metabolism, cytotoxicity, and cholinesterase activity.
