Definition:

MLMA is a human cancer cell line derived from Peritoneal effusion and associated with Hairy cell leukemia and Classic hairy cell leukemia. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. MLMA is used as an in vitro model of Hairy cell leukemia and Classic hairy cell leukemia to investigate cell migration and receptor signaling and trafficking.
